IS SIERRA BURGESS REALLY A LOSER?

she is not, period.
This movie portrays
the life of an intelligent teenager who yearns go to Stanford
University but, unfortunately, before, for her school mates, Sierra
(Shannon Purser) is seen as the school nerd and loser. Everyone makes
jokes about her, make fun with her , except her best friend , Dan (RJ
Cyler)
The most popular
cheerliding girl in the school, Veronica (Kristine Froseth) ends up
giving the number of Sierra to a boy, Jamey (Noah Centineo) that she
did not want because. he was super nerd and had "weird friends"
Jamey ends up
sending messages to Sierra thinking that is Veronica that is
responding to him. Sierra eventually, falls in love with Jamey, but,
as Jamey thinks she's talking to Veronica; Sierra asks Veronica for
help, so she can continue to talk to him. At the beginning, the girls
were quite "dry" with each other, but in the end they end
up becoming good and amazing friends.
Before Jamey's
football game, he kissed Veronica and she ends up getting angry with
him, even though he does not understand why. Sierra witnessed the
kiss and perfidiously believed that Veronica intensely kissed him.

Jamey ,eventually,
discovers the truth and ask them both to stay well away from him and
not talk to him anymore.
Sierra writes a song
of apologizes for Veronica. Veronica plays the song for Jamey. He
ends up apologizing both pf the girls.
The real tea is,
will V and S be friends again? Is J and S friends too or is there
anything else?

I do not know if
this love story is just for the movie, if it's already happened to
someone or it's going to happen eventually. What I do know, is that
the story was inspiring and it conveys many values to the viewer how,
the consequences of catfishing and the consequences for bullying, how
the lies lead us to a bottomless pit ...
It's another great
success on the netflix part, add another one to the list.
Congratulations!!!
- Carol.
